Composition and framing task

From this task, I learnt that most of my pictures are very theme-lead, which was open/closed, I’m trying to slowly use more techniques like, negative space, e.g. However, I tried using the compromise between colour of Beth’s hair colour and the background of green trees which I think was successful. I like how I didn’t interpret the theme conventionally, for example, photographing a door, but a downside to this is that the theme didn’t come across as clearly. I like the first two pictures, the close up of Beth’s face, but I’m not that keen on the second two because I feel as if I could've used better angles, composition and framing. However, that could be said for the whole task.
